Prayer tradition: the icon is known for the numerous cases of recovery from physical diseases. Young virgins pray in front of the icon for help in maintaining chastity, piety and good morals. They pray in the hope of meeting with a good man and establishing a successful marriage, to experience blessed and happy family life.
