The ICONS exhibition in the Hour company building in Žilina has opened a new exhibition entitled "The Mysterious Face of Jesus Christ". It will last until March 2022. Visitors to the gallery have a unique opportunity to see a set of original ancient icons from various parts of the world, such as Russia, Greece, Albania and Romania, whose central theme is various, well-known and lesser-known, biblical scenes.
The gallery can be found at Milan Rastislav Štefánik Street 33 in Žilina. Opening hours for the public are on weekdays, from Tuesday to Friday from 13:00 until 17:00. Admission is free. In Žilina, the permanent exhibition of icons has had its place for five years. Dozens of sacral paintings with figures of saints have been seen by hundreds of visitors not only from Slovakia, but also from distant Russia and America. Visitors can learn more about their history or spiritual legacy from regular lectures.
